Family Guy iPhone App Review

What’s up everyone? This is Ryan with UniqueApps.com. I have another app review for you all today. The app review that I’m going to do is the Family Guy new App from Fox. Basically what this app is it is just a bunch of clips from the Family Guy show from the TV show and it allows you to make your own mixes to just watch favorite clips anything that you want really. So you got five when it comes on the bottom here. We’ve got a video icon, mixes, video mixture and more.

So the video one we have New Today, Best of Stewie, Grab Bag, Classic Peter, Evening News and New Today. So all of these I can scroll to and watch the different clips here so any of these. Giggity is basically two different games. We’ve got Peter Toss where basically you swipe or shape to Toss Peter around the screen.

So it looks he’s on the toilet now and so I can shake the app and it kind of runs around so I want to say down with that then we have Stewie pin-up which is basically a bunch of different poses for Stewie or just different what do I call it just different outfits that’s Stewie is in, in different poses. So down with that and then we have the mixes. So these are mixes that everybody else has made and then I can also so I can see the top mixes here or the most recent mixes but I’m just going to go into the video mixer. I think that’s probably the most unique part of 0this application. This application is not that feature rich but it may has a couple of cool things so I’m going to go to create mix and it does take a little while below because it’s loading all of the clips right now. So it says new mix will be saved as my handle 003.

So basically what you do is you scroll to the top here. I’ve got Peter clips, Stewie clips, Bryan Clips, Chris Clips, Meg. So all these different clips and I select anyone of them so I’m going to select beat down clips and here’s all the bit down basically, I can select it looks like there’s what maybe 8 or 9 of this and I can select one of this and I drag them into the clips here and it is just like this one will drag them in then I can go to more clips so pretty much on you just select anything you want and you drag different clips into this mix here and then let me do a couple of Stewie. So click this one and this one and I click done and then what this does is it renders my mix, my handle is 003 and then I can watch the mix and we turn it out to tiny bit and then I can watch the whole thing and I’m just going to show you basically how to make a mix.

So these are all the clips that I decided like two seconds ago and it’s taking a little while alone and it looks like it’s 42 seconds long and it’s almost just going to click play here and these are loaded song. So I can also go to wherever I want in the mix. So now I can share that mix as I wanted. I’m not going to share it though and that’s pretty much it though for the Family Guy and it’s not really that feature rich but a lot of people complain because there’s not that many clips. I mean basically if you’re a huge Family Guy fan I mean this is a great app to have and you can have just some of the most classic clips of the show on your iPod or your iPod Touch but really not $2.00 for the application.

I’m not sure it’s worth it but again like I said if you’re hard core Family Guy fan then you probably going to enjoy this app but I give this app probably a three out of five stars just because it’s not really that feature rich. There’s not a whole lot you can do and it also lacks a lot of clips. I mean it’s got quite a few clips but once go through them all you're kind of to see them all.
