Hey guys. How are we doing today? Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I'm kind of tired right now. It’s little earlier in the morning it’s actually 8’o clock right now for me going out to the St. Patrick’s Day festival is some buddies downtown today. So I wanted to sneak this video review in really quickly because I’ve been living with these cases for about a week and I have not nothing but positive feedback for them.
If you guys have heard of the company is called Fabrics and based out in Singapore and their cases are really not the norm. They are more of a stylish, more designer, more artistic looking kind of case design and all of their cases are like this. Some of them do serve more protection than others. Example, this one will more than this. But they are really just made for their sweet awesome designs and you can pretty much find one that you will definitely fall in love with.
So anyway, let me start this review off with the Red the mask sleeve. Now as you guys notice I said sleeve not casing because this is more of a material quilted fabric sleeve. You just slide your iPod in here and everything is enclosed except this top. There is no side buttons, no way to access any of your controls. This is really just a like hug your iPod, have it look stylish and keep it. Some are protected actually.
As you guys see, it’s really just more of a soft material on the siding. It doesn’t seem conserve too much protection but it got some thicker quilted padding on the inside so it does serve a little bit more above minimum protection. It got something actually to add to your iPod. It should be able to protect you against the small drops and small dings and what not. Drop it off to your tables. It should be able to help a little bit.
When I throw this on the ground out of my car, it’s not one of the most sturdy and stable casings but it is definitely one of the most gorgeous and it stills able to offer some minimum protection. As you guys see, there is also some more colors to this too, but as you guys see, it’s all just two pieces of fabrics, just handcrafted and they are sown together. The seems are pretty much impossible to see really unless you check it out for them.
I love these casings. It’s not to get the highest ratings for protection because it’s obviously not the most protected. But anyway, it fits perfectly to your iPod because right here at the top as you guys see, just about perfectly flushed to your iPod or your iPhone on top. So it’s just covering just exactly what it needs to. It still feels really nice in here. you can still feel your iPod, I feel safe dropping this a little bit. It definitely adds with this extra quilted padding in the inside. It adds a little bit protection to it. It is not the safest but it is definitely one of the slickest, most stylish and definitely one of the nicest casing I've seen so far.
And a little added bonus that they have right here is this little loop right here. It’s added for key chains, lanyards, key rings or anything that you really wanted to. Karabiners, anything that you wanted to, so we are able to have your iPod casing at least held up and people will be able to see it. You can show it off to the crowd and I'm definitely I'm betting that a lot of people are going to fall in love with these casings. So anyway that is the first that I have for you guys and as you can see pretty easy just to take your iPod out. Because nothing is accessible for this case except for the top of the Sleep, Wake button or if you want to, if you want to still be able to listen to your music while your iPod casing is inside. Just as easy as that, turn it up upside down and there you go – you got your headphone jacks still accessible and then you can listen to your music, what is playing inside.
So that is the first casing that I have for you guys called the Red the Mask Sleeve. I believe it comes in one or two colors, go over to their web site and check it out I have a link on the side bar over here. My second casing for them a little bit different this is more protective casings this is called the--it’s not the fabricated hard shell. Not the fabricated it is the well suited hard shell, this is a newer design that I have actually seen. It’s a hard shell casing but it also a fabricated casing on the outside; they get the best of the both worlds right here. So we pop this thing out if I can.
So as you guys see, it just looks like a normal hard casing. It is very solid, doesn’t get like cardboard on the inside and seems it is more of a plastic on the inside, it could be cardboard but whatever it is, it is very durable, very strong. This is a more protective case than the other one. You got your bottom exposed completely so you are able to have your action. Let’s just pop the iPod in after a second.
This inside is all felt it’s a really nice fabricated felt but it’s the kind that you know that is not going to scratch your iPod. Especially because it’s all one scene there is no seems in here that can possibly scratch that I'm feeling right now. It feels it’s just like it’s really just going to hug and comfort your iPod perfectly the way that people want it to.
This outside is more of a rougher, more rugged it especially it helps with the grip. But this is more of the material that we have seen before, it’s a nice material. It’s a great design as well. Very simplistic design and it still makes a fashion scene, it’s got a very nice are to look to it.
It got the fabrics logo right on the bottom and I don’t like with companies put the logos and stuff. But for some reason, that fabric logo is just great on this casing. And that is pretty much it for the outside, now the way you that you pop your iPod into this is that at this very top, you are can just flip it back and as you guys see right there. Just the top opens so crack open a little bit.
And slide your iPod out or iPhone down in there. It tells you should you’d flush and there we go. I think that is all the way, we are all good, so the iPod feels pretty safe in here and I am not going to lie. This is the more durable of the two cases that I have reviewed so far, as you can see at the bottom when you have this enclosed. Do you still have your 30 pin connector adapter available and you have your headphone jack also pretty easy to access. On the sides the top is a little bit more exposed and I like it to be but that the only way that you can get your iPod on to this case so no complains there really.
The only thing that I have terrible troubles with accessing is the volume rack is not too bad to access. You can still get to it, it’s a little bit snag, a little bit tighter of fit but the only one that I really don’t reaching is the Sleep, Wake button. Because it just feels like that I got a feel around in there until I finally feel it.
The Home button is pretty to access as you guys see this entire front touch screen is all accessible. Sadly the sides aren’t just as flash as I like them to be the sides do come up a quite a bit as you guys see. Pretty high bumps on the side but they are not flipping up because it is all one hard shell casing just enclosed inside of the fabrics casing. So you do have a very durable casing here, buttons kind of easy to access of them have little up and downs and some of them are really easy like this bottom part. It does might be able to be get trapped in there, but it shouldn’t be too terrible because it is a very tight snug fit to your iPod. And it feels like this will be able to protect it for a definite long time.
So, that is basically my entire review for these both cases guys. They are really fantastic casing if you are wanting the most durable, protective iPod casing, the one wants to baby your iPod. You may want to pass over these casings but if you want your iPod to at least be protected to a minimum standard.
Usually above that, these cases are pretty tough, they don’t seem like it they are just material, felt materials but I'm not going like living with them for a week they atleast hold their ground and they hold your iPod in there pretty nice and snug. And they add my little weekly I can’t get my iPod out this. So there is my iPod let’s get the two cases back out here.
This one Red The Mask Sleeve this one is the well suited hard shell casing, both fantastic cases in their own different ways. If you want to find more cases like this go over to Fabrics web site because they have about 25, 30 different stylish cases all pretty much different designs. Some of them are softer sleeves like this sleeve you can just pop your iPod in. Some of them are hard shells; they got some other different types of hard shells so they really make every type of case possible.
They are fantastic cases and they are really nice designs, great art looking to them. Definitely the kind of cases or sleeves that you want to buy so you can actually show off your iPod. This one is definitely attract attention, attract an eye and it’s fantastic cases –I would recommend them if you are looking for more of a design. More over the protection but if you want a solid protection might want to pass over them. But even if you want to solid protection and you think that you don’t want any need of these cases?
Go over to their web site the link is over here on the side bar. Just go check out some of these cases because even if you don’t think that you want to buy them. Once you see some of these designs, you might change your mind because they have some pretty fantastic designs over there. These cases are truly gorgeous, probably the best case physical appearance that I have seen so far in a case company.
So go check out the web site, it’s over here on the side bar the links are over there. If you want – go check it out, if you are looking for a great casing that will hold your iPod in there, pretty snug and still have the best design, best arts looking possible. Go check out Fabrics cases, I will talk to you guys later, have a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day. Hope you guys are out celebrating if not hope you guys still have a great day. I will talk to you guys later bye.
