Speaker: Grand Prix insight is presented by Allianz. Welcome to the final and deciding Grand Prix of the Formula 1 year 2008 in Brazil. The trick on the 4.3 kilometer circuit is to weave yourself in or make up places ahead of the first corner, the legendary Senna S. So it is over more important to get a good start.
Speaker 2: The start of a race is probably the most exciting part because there is so many cars just compact right together and everybody wants to make up spaces, so everybody is going in fighting and really it is all about risk management for every driver because you want to take as much risk as possible, but then again you really can't afford to take much risk because the next car is just a few centimeters from your way. So the smallest mistake you are going to crash and you are going to be out of the race, so it is a really, really interesting part of the race.
Speaker: The Senna S a perfect combination for overtaking. On this first downhill section you can already makeup place so that you have got your nose ahead for the rest of the race.
Speaker 3: Well the first corner is the first chance to do an overtaking and once you do an overtaking in a first corner you have saved you a lot, you saved yourself a lot of time because overtaking in Formula 1 is kind of difficult, very difficult. So if you get your enemy in turn one, there is a chance that you gain time on him until your first pit stop and that's a big, very significant advantage.
Speaker: Once pass the rival; drivers have to find a right balance between a long drawn out straights and the tight infield. It is no easy task on this anticlockwise and bumpy track. The drivers need to find exactly the ideal line.
Speaker 2: There is one corner that goes into the next, into the next and if you get the first corner wrong you get everything wrong. So you need to concentrate a lot in that area.
Speaker: After that comes a left hander where the cars again pick up speed. In the final corner before the start finish straight, drivers need to put their foot down in good time. They accelerate to around 320 kilometers an hour, one of the fastest parts of the circuits. The finale in 2009 by the way will not be in Brazil, but in Abu Dhabi instead.
