Amalienborg Palace is a major architectural landmark in Copenhagen. As the winter home of the Danish Royal Family is protected by the royal guards at all times. Christianborg Palace is the only building in the world to be home to all three of a nation’s supreme powers. Today’s palace showcases three different eras of architecture. The Copenhagen Opera House is one of the most expensive opera houses in the world. Rosenborg Castle is a popular tourist draw because of its central location. It is a small castle that currently houses a museum of Danish culture.
