Evan Lysacek: I’m very excited
Interviewer: Are you a big Twilight fan?
Evan Lysacek: Yes. I’m a big fan. I think this all is very well deserved. This movie started the whole trend of vampires and sort of mysticism on TV and the movies. So, it’s going to be original. I think we’re all looking forward to seeing what happens next.
Interviewer: Now that Dance seems wrapped up, what are you doing? What are you going back to?
Evan Lysacek: I went on tour again and finished my skating tour after dancing was done and then I went to Korea and did some international shows and now, I’ve just been working for sponsors a lot and making personal appearances and getting back to training.
Interviewer: Have you been in touch with any of the Dancing with the Stars cast mates?
Evan Lysacek: Yes, everyday; yes we talk everyday. We’re like a family and we’re planning some trips together to stay united.
Interviewer: What’s up with Jake and his girlfriend; did you guys expect that?
Evan Lysacek: Did not expect it. I’m definitely surprised by that. They seem like a very happy couple but I hope they’re doing okay and I’m sure they’ll both end up just fine.
Interviewer: They broke up over a month ago, we interviewed them last week and they’re like “Everything is—
Evan Lysacek: Yes. I just was in Vegas with them a couple of weeks ago and didn’t hear anything but you know what? That happens to all of us. We all know that that goes. So, it’s love and I’m sure they’ll both be just fine.
