ERIC STROMER: Well, any time you get the ability to teach and convey something that you’ve been passionate about for so many years, it really makes a huge difference in the quality of my life especially.

Some of the favorite projects, I think, are things that really directly impact energy conservation – you know, how to weather-strip, how to save some energy for the planet; and at the same time, things that are really practical in nature, things as simple as just painting a room and changing a color, which really can affect the mood and the ambience of a specific room.

So the complicated projects that we’ve done really don’t seem to resonate quite as much as the really simple things that I might take for granted as a professional for 25 years in the business. But when I hear people’s response to things that are relatively simple but ultimately make a huge impact, it really makes me feel great.
