Female: We’re building some custom furniture pieces in here and they all have this
picture fading style and I’m staining the frame and the inside a contrasting color.

Male: Jeannie is staining a – plywood perimeter a rosewood tone and the poplar
hardwood a yellowy pine color before putting them together.

Female: Because of these bubbles and these edges, it’s impossible to stain in two different
colors are it’s already put together.

Male: We’re adding a new bench to the foot of the Diaz’ bed. We’ve already stained
the pieces for the tabletop and the bench seat so now, it’s time to put them
together. Now I’ll go ahead and use biscuits, some clue as well as some clamps.
Once it’s all dried up, it’s going to hold together nice and tight. I’m marking the
points where I want to join the poplar and the – pieces. Next, I’m taking a plate
joiner and cutting slots for our biscuits to fit in each of the marks. Finally, I’m
adding water based glue inside the holes and over the biscuits before clamping
all the pieces together.

The Diaz’ have limited seating in the room so we’re bringing in a bench at the
end of the bed. We’ve already stained it and assembled the top so now, Jake is
putting together the bottom.

Male: So I’ve finished assembling my skirt and as you can see I’ve already started to
fasten it to the underside of the table using some small angle brackets so all I
have left to do is finish up this one side and then I’ll be ready to put my legs on

Male: Jake is using two inch finished nails to attach the legs nailing from the outer side
of the skirt.

Male: The bench is nice and secure and all it needs is a quick coat of sealant and it’s
ready to go in the room. So are you excited, nervous what?

Female: Nervous.

Male: Excited.

Female: A little bit of both.

Male: You guys have waited long enough and you have a brand new master bedroom,
let’s go check it out.

Female: My gosh wow.

Male: This is unbelievable.

Female: Unbelievable.

Male: Jake built this fantastic bench which the top has that tropical hardwood in the
center which matches the bedside table.

Male: It’s unreal.

Female: I can't believe that you’re able to create such a beautiful environment in this
space because I could never imagine it.
