Making good on their promise to continue protests, Muslim Brotherhood followers return to Cairo streets in support of ousted president Mohamed Mursi. In the city's Zaytoun area, there appeared to be thousands. Elsewhere in Cairo, the numbers paled in comparison as the call for "Friday of Martyrs" protests failed to gain traction. Chanting "Sisi's forces killed people with gunfire," the protesters condemned General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the military for the brutal crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood. The violence escalated more than a week ago when security forces raided two sit-in camps home to Mursi supporters. Protesters say they've had enough. (SOUNDBITE) PROTESTER, MOHAMED RAGAB, SAYING: ''I've come here today to tell all Sisi supporters: Enough, enough blood. You are cheapening our freedom, Sisi. Oh Interior Minister, I beg you, oh Egyptian ministers who are present here in Egypt, enough blood, please. We're a nation that wants to live with freedom.'' Hundreds were killed in one location known as Rabaa. The mourners have used a four-finger salute to honor those victims. Despite the brutality, protesters have vowed they won't remain silent. (SOUNDBITE) EGYPTIAN PROTESTER, SAYING: ''When a nation is ruled by tanks, iron and fire, this is something that we can't accept. If the military council continues to control the country, this control will not last for long. But this revolution and the revolutionary waves will continue." Mursi has remained in military custody since his removal July 3rd.
