Episode 21: Eating Low with Little Italy

Hi! This is Amy and welcome to Eating Low. As you can tell I'm in Little Italy and it’s the face of St. Anthony. They’re just having a big summer or spring time festival with lots of food and carnival type atmosphere.

So, I’m here with Daniela from the board and our other friend Barb who lives in New York. So we’re all here and we’re enjoying this taste of Little Italy and it is kind of hard to eat low in Little Italy, there’s a lot of pasta but you can usually get some kind of sea food or chicken, watch the sauces and stay away from the gelato which I have not successfully done tonight but I did have some gelato but it’s really rich so you can do with a lot less than you would normally eat.

So, I just want to show you guys Little Italy. Now you can see all this restaurants and you have people and they have all kinds of pasta that you can get. I'm in Little Italy and I've intensely take the best trying to get the best one but I wanted to show you the Little Italy time.

Guys welcome to Little Italy and I just want you to give you a guide, a picture of the theme of Little Italy. It’s the feast of St. Anthony right now. So there’s all kinds of food and people selling stuff and it’s kind of like a carnival.
