Weather.com gives you an easy way to track what kind of weather to expect while you’re on vacation.
First just enter in the city, state or zip code of where you’ll be traveling. I’ll choose New York City. You’ll first see the weather for today and then you can choose to view the next day and you’ll see the forecast hour by hour.
You can select another day from this dropdown menu. You can also choose to view the weekend forecast. You can view the weather and text and if there’s anything major going on you’ll see alerts up here like right now there’s a flashflood watch, coastal flood advisory, speed of thunderstorm watch in New York City.
If you sign up for a free account then you can create a profile and choose to be notified about things like severe weather, get rain alerts, cold weather alerts, daily surf and sea conditions and have daily forecast emailed to you. You can choose what types of weather information you’d like to be informed about and then not worry about having to return to Weather.com everyday to see what the weather is going to be like.
