Hi everybody! I'm Melanie Raposo and welcome to Mommy's Minute. If you just had a baby, you'll probably notice that your old clothes just don't quite fit. Well, here are some tricks to dressing yourself after pregnancy to make you feel good.
One of the best ways to disguise those troubling areas is by creating a long lean look. This means don't wear baggy clothes, they can actually make you look bigger than you are. Wearing shirts and sit on top of the hips are great for balancing out your figure. And V-necks are also good because they draw the eye upwards creating a leaner look.
Now, to minimize your butt avoid wearing cargo pants or any type of pants with pockets that stick out. Also try wearing skirts that are fuller cut that flow away from the body to balance the top and bottom.
Lastly, if you don't want to spend too much money on your wardrobe, it's a good idea to buy a few quality expensive pieces and then checking out the thrift stores for additional, less expensive items.
