Ladies, if you’re looking for the perfect cocktail dress, stay with me as we speak with Michelle Walc, fashion expert at Square One Shopping Center about the latest trends in holiday dressing. Michelle, this is very exciting. What are the latest trends and what do you have for us today?

Michelle: Well, what we’ve got is we have some great fashions from Square One Shopping Center and we’re showcasing some fantastic stores and some really fun cocktail dresses.

So first step, we’ve got Kato here and Kato has a gorgeous magenta dress from Norma Reed. Now, I do want to mention that purple is really in the season, so you can see within that magenta dress, there’s those flex of purple in that metallic fabric. Now, what she’s got on the dress is these wonderful folds and these russets on the side which had a great silhouette and all women love having that great silhouette.

I do want to point out the fantastic shoe from Steve Madden, really rich texture with that swede and it’s pulling from the russets on the dress same into the shoes.

Sheila: And then you’ve got those grape big chunky pieces. It’s beautiful.

Michelle: It doesn’t that gave a great pop right there and that what makes the dress, that’s from Soroski. And as you can see, it’s got the flex of purple as well, so it’s pulling out the purple from the dress.

So here comes Robin in this gorgeous traditional Chinese dress. Now, this is from history called Hamiko and it’s on Square One as well and they deal with authentic Chinese clothing. Now, I do want to talk about that cream shrug that’s Flora’s. And it’s just gorgeous. It’s the just purple and it just screams winter, doesn’t it?

Sheila: Yeah absolutely, scream elegant.

Michelle: Oh, definitely. So underneath, as you can see, we have the full effective that great dress. Take a look at that pattern there with those dragons and those flowers, really, really exquisite.

Sheila: I’ve always loved this very classic style but is it something that everyone can wear?

Michelle: Oh definitely. And the great thing about Hamiko is that they tailor the dresses to your body type. Take a look at that great Steve Madden saddle base shoe. It really does add nicely to the dress. Now, I do want to point out that lovely collection, not from Soroski.

Sheila: I didn’t even know they did clutches.

Michelle: No, who knew.

Sheila: Okay Michelle, traditional, where is the little black dress?

Michelle: Oh, don’t worry. It’s still around. Here comes Kato in this gorgeous sweet heart neckline mini dress and it just looks fantastic. It’s sun. I want to take a look at this reissuing. And what the reissuing does is really great at hiding in perfections which is obviously a woman’s best friend.

Now, let’s take a look just at the shoes there. They’re from town shoes. There almost a version of that little booty but it’s got those great cut outs which kind of break it up and they’re very holiday and very evening. So now her jewelry, we wanted to match it up with a pop of color and that jewelry is Marla as well.

Sheila: So Michelle, I love a little black dress but both colors are really the trendiest season.

Michelle: That’s right, bolds and metallics. And as we can see here on Robin, she’s wearing a great navy blue metallic dress, again with the reissuing which is really in this season. She’s got those fantastic russets at the bottom of the dress as well which I have a great detail.

The dress there is from Marla’s as well. We’ve got the silver metallic Michael Kors shoe which is from R2W, also in Square One. And I do want to put out her fantastic metallic jewelry which is from Panache.

Sheila: Okay, the trends have been bold colors, metallics but I know sparkle is everything that’s top in this here too.

Michelle: Oh sparkle is huge Sheila. And as we can see here, Kato is wearing a gorgeous bided and sequence dress that is just stunning. Now, all ages can wear dress. As you can see, it’s a little bit longer, not that many dress.

Sheila: Look at that that. That’s beautiful.

Michelle: That is a quite a draft but it really adds to the elegance of the dress. And we’ve got the shoe there is from R2W. Now, we’ve got this great bracelet also from Soroski, just that bangle as the perfect touch.

Sheila: Michelle, I know we only have one dress left to see but this is just a sample of everything that there is to choose from in Square One Shopping Center, isn’t it?

Michelle: Oh, that’s right. There’s an abundance of fantastic dresses to choose from and I’ve got here Robin. And she’s wearing a dress that talks about pretty much all of the trends that are going on. We’ve got that great bead work. We’ve got the metallics there and the pleats along with it as well.

Now, this dress is from Denise and it really is a work of art with all that crast and ship there. She’s got the great shoe from R2W metallic of course and the gem worth in the shoe matches the dress perfectly. And then she’s got the lovely clutch which is from Melanie Lynn, lovely sequence. Again, that sparkle is huge. And her jewelry, we’ve got the bracelet from Viva and the ring from Panache.

Sheila: Well Michelle, you definitely didn’t leave the best to last because they were all beautiful and I know it’s just a sample of everything that there is to offer at Square One. But you really have given us great fashion expertise. Thank you so much.
