Opposition activists in Syria say more than 200 people have been killed by pro government troops. Amateur video shows a man laying on the floor-- a voice in the background says 'wounded from random shelling'. The head of the revolution leadership council in Hama told Reuters that pro-governmnet forces assaulted a Sunni village, then carried out execution style killings of more than 220 people. If confirmed, it would be the worst single incident of violence in 16 months of conflict in which rebels are fighting to topple President Bashar al-Assad. More amateur video purportedly shows a town just north of Homs where buildings are being heavily shelled. And still more bombings in another location northwest of Damascus. Reuters cannot verify the content of the video. Julie Noce, Reuters
