That’s the question doctors are trying to answer after Osbourne was taken to the hospital Thursday from the set of E!’s Fashion Police. MELISSA RIVERS: “My mom looked at her and made a joke ‘cause she looked kind of pale. Like, oh, well maybe you’re pregnant. ... And next thing you know, she was having a massive seizure.” (Via Entertainment Tonight ) Doctors have opted to keep Osbourne in the hospital since the incident. Access Hollywood notes the 28-year-old star went to social media to let fans know she was doing well. MICHELLE BEADLE: “She was kept in the hospital overnight. She’s okay, in stable condition. And last night tweeted a photo of the IV in her arm at the hospital.” But on Saturday, TMZ reported the seizure may be a sign of epilepsy, saying doctors fear... “… the seizure was far more serious than first suspected. Doctors are running tests and we're told she'll be in the hospital for at least a few more days.” According to the Epilepsy Foundation , there are more than 65 million people with the disease worldwide, and while medications can often be effective, millions of people with epilepsy continue having seizures their whole lives. And if Osbourne is diagnosed with epilepsy, she wouldn’t be the first in the family to face a serious health condition. You may remember Jack Osbourne announced he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2012. (Via ABC ) Osbourne’s fans tweeted their support for the star, wishing her a speedy recovery. A writer for Cinema Blend said they’re sure Osbourne can handle whatever comes her way. “Kelly has always been a fighter, and she’ll no doubt attack her diagnosis aggressively, whether it’s an incredibly serious matter or a minor one.”
