The land of smiles is epitomized by the friendliness of its hill tribes.
Hi, I’m Rebecca Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com and today we’ll be taking a look at the Hill tribes in Thailand.
The lists of people are one of Thailand’s six main hill tribes with about 55,000 living in the country. Often, women of the elusive tribe can be found wearing brightly colored tunics of red, blue or green over blue or black pants.
Another of Thailand’s six main Hill Tribes is the Akha people. The Akha are relatively new to Thailand having arrived in the early 20th century and colonized at high altitudes in the North of the country. There is a population of 150,000 mount people in Thailand. Among women customarily so are neatly decorated clothing for their families using cotton or hand fabrics.
The largest of Thailand’s Hill Tribes is the Karen with 400,000 members. This tribe also lives in houses on stilts and underneath, they raised their livestock.
