Clive Pearson: Doug and Ronnie Jackson are about to turn back time by moving to the neighborhood where Doug grew up. But first, they have to get their house in tip-top shape and get top dollar. Michael Johnson is on his way to meet them right now.
Michael Johnson: We're going to bring real expert Bethany Souza in here. She is going to walk through your house, say some critical things, can you handle that?
Doug: Got things good.
Bethany Souza: What is going on over here? I don't recall saying a Day Care sign outside.
Doug: It's not a day care.
Michael Johnson: Well they've got kids so they made this a playroom.
Bethany Souza: First of all, a dining room is imperative in a house size and it's imperative it is in this location. This is just going to detract.
Monica Pedersen: Well, let's talk about we're going to do in this room.
Monica Pedersen: As Bethany said this is a very nice playroom, but a playroom isn't going to sell a house where dining room could help you sell your house.
Doug: Okay. I guess I can see that.
Monica Pedersen: So we are going to take this wonderful space and turn it into a beautiful dining room.
Ronnie: Okay great.
Monica Pedersen: Obviously the toys need to go. We're going to change out chandelier. Also we're going to change out the blinds and we would bring in some beautiful window treatments to give this room some personality. I love this rug, it's the cutest thing ever, but this is not going to work in our grown up dining room. We're also going to paint the wall.
Doug: Oh! Okay.
Monica Pedersen: Bring in a beautiful dining room table and chairs to really give you a nice sophisticated dining room, that's going to show really well in when home buyers are coming into to look at your home.
Male Speaker: First off Ronnie and Micheal clear out the playroom. The blinds finally come down.
Bethany Souza: Two girls and a drill.
Male Speaker: And we are ready to prime and paint.
Monica Pedersen: Say good bye to our chandelier here.
Monica Pedersen: It's time to just update it, to help add value and add more of finishing touches on the old playroom that's now a dining room.
Monica Pedersen: Michael would you mind turning on the light and see if this works.
Micheal Johnson: No problem.
Monica Pedersen: It's gorgeous. Alright Jacksons, we have a dining room.
Doug: Looks good.
Monica Pedersen: Good. Alright, we took out your playroom and brought in a new dining room by adding a dining room table and dining room chairs.
Doug: Looks nice.
Ronnie: Who knew that case can look so good.
Monica Pedersen: No more toys and books.
Male Speaker: A warm neutral paint color, matching window treatments, and an elegant chandelier create a dining room that won't be playing any games at the open house.
Ronnie: It's really fabulous.
Monica Pedersen: I think it's very pretty and I think it's going to help sell your home. It's going to add a lot of value having a dining room here.
