Hi, everybody. I’m Rick Rifle for Stylushlife.com and this is a designer minute. I throw a lot of dinner parties and in that dinner parties I happen to like to use fabric napkins. The problem is fabric napkins can get a little bit pricy. So what’s my frugal tip for you today, allow me to introduce you to flour sack towels. I was shopping at Smart & Final a couple of weeks ago and let all over my head. I thought I wonder if these would make a suitable center napkin.
Now at $14.00 for a dozen of 28 x 28 inch square white linen cloths, how can I go wrong I figured. Take it home and try them up. But first thing I notice they don’t really have very even half but to create a little bit folding where I sort of just turn the hems in on them shelves like this and I still had a nice shot presentation from a tablescape.
Now additionally if you’re compulsive like me, you can go one step further as per instruction I don’t know and now I’ll give them a really sharp look. That night at my dinner party this was practically all my guest could talk about. One even went so far as to say that he thought that this was the size dinner napkins really have to be.
Lastly, when they had as many washes as they can take and they just can’t take it anymore without falling apart what you’re going to be left with is a virtually lint free rug perfect for a home cleaning cloth especially for electronics.
Now if you don’t have a Smart & Final in your neighborhood, a quick Google search for flour sack towel will yield you a number of online shopping results. Stylushlife.com, I’m Rick Rifle.
