Host: We’re at Mariebelle, and we’re going to go inside and meet owner herself Mariebelle is going to tell us what makes her chocolate so unique and amazing and delicious so why are we wasting time let’s go.
Wow talk about chocolate wonderland.
Host: Mariebelle it’s a pleasure. This is amazing. I mean look at these.
Marie: Well these are our midgets from the 1950’s everything is hand painted and the reward is chocolate inside.
Host: You’re kidding piece of art with chocolate inside. This is great.
Marie: Yeah and you know everything in the store is about to please the eyes and the palate.
Host: Well I’m ready to please the palate. Let’s go.
Okay so I need to ask you some questions, I am chocolate addict so I am loving this place.
Marie: That’s what I like.
Host: And I give these as gifts all the time and it really is amazing when you take the lid of the painting and the uniqueness really just hit you in the face.
Marie: To me chocolate is a whole experience and that’s why people when they open the box they get very sharp to seal these beautiful things and I have gotten customers call saying they don’t want to eat it. They kept it for 1 year and when they went to 2 years they were all moldy because they happen to be very short shelf life. You know they are all hand made and they don’t have any preservatives and I try to do a lot of ganache and ganache is infusing different flavors of you know fresh flavors.
Host: Because you have some really unique flavors like earl grey, saffron, champagne before I try one because I don’t think I can wait longer what’s your quick or best selling flavor.
Marie: You know we have a lot of best selling but the passion fruit is well.
Host: I’m going to try that one. This one with the two people looking very in love.
Marie: Yeah exactly. Mmm! It’s so good I can hug you.
Host: Thank you.
Marie: Let me give you a hug.
Host: This is so good this is the best ever.
Research has shown there are really are a lot of benefits that can come from eating a bit of high quality chocolate like the kind sold at Marriebelle’s. Oh my gosh this café is amazing. It’s incredible; tell me about what made you come up with this design. I mean I feel like I’m in Paris?
Marie: Inspiration comes from Vienna and Paris and it’s all actually very cozy place where people can come and relax and have Aztec hot chocolate.
Host: I know tell me about the Aztec hot chocolate.
Marie: Well the impression comes from the Aztec they’re the first one to study using the chocolate for drinking and it’s made with water meaning you can add some spices to it too and it’s very strong it’s wonderful though.
Host: It’s been a dream come true for me thank you so much for having us I mean I’m a chocoholic so it’s like a playground here.
Marie: Well than you for coming and I really I can’t wait to see you back.
