Host: What should I do if my in-laws drink too much at family gatherings?

Speaker: So this is the kind of question that’s like its almost too embarrassing for people to ask. Or to think about but it is a real issue alcohol uses so wide spread. And the difficulties with alcohol are also very wide spread in a way to think abut family reunions and holidays without thinking about the potential threat of alcohol relative difficulties.

So skip that pieces is almost naïve. I don’t have an easy answer to it, except it’s something to keep on your radar screen. That this could be part of what that is causing problems.

And I think from myself if I’m going into a situation with lots of in-laws. Lots of relatives and they’re maybe challenging in their actions. It probably makes the best sense for you have full access to my best thinking so I don’t drink at all or very much at such events. So at least one person in that interaction that I’m having is going to be completely sober and completely alert.
