Police said 17 women trapped on the top floor died. Only 3 managed to escape.SOTbut dashing was easier said than done. When the women managed to grope their way down three floors in darkness, police said they found the main steel gate locked, and bystanders needed a hydraulic car jack to pry open an exit. Apparently the employee who kept the door key was one of those who perished. It took crews at least five hours to put out the flames. There was no immediate word on what started the blaze.Authorities have put out a call to relatives to bring dental records or anything that might help identify the badly burned bodies.(****END****)VIDEO PRODUCER/VOICER: Karen Sloan------------------------------VIDEO SOURCE: ABS CBN--------------------------VIDEO APPROVAL: John Shanahan------------------------------VIDEO RESTRICTIONS: NO ACCESS PHILIPPINES----------------------------------WIRE SOURCE: AP------------------------------------
