Thanks for stopping by. I’m Chef Billy Parisi and you’re watching FixMyRecipe.com. Our new fix goes to Kim of Detroit, Michigan. Kim, I know you’ve written a couple of times before. You need serious help in the flavor department. Don’t worry we have a brand new country great recipe just for you. Kim, you are just terrified of food. Don’t be afraid to try to add other flavors so you can get more flavored.
So what we’re going to do in return to that is in a skillet we’re going to add in butter. Next, we’re going to sauté off this garlic and sweet onion. Alright Kim, once those vegetables are nice and caramelized, we’re going to go ahead and add in this country sausage until this is completely cooked through. Next, we’re going to add in flour and of course, our milk and cream. That flour’s going to help thicken it right up.
Kin, you can see how thick this has gotten really, really quick so be sure to keep an eye on it. Next, we’re going to just whisk some seasonings. A little bit of Tabasco and Worcestershire and we are going to finish with fresh sage and fresh thyme and I got to try some of these out.
Kim, awesome flavors. You’re going to absolutely love it. Try using those vegetables and finish off with fresh herbs. It’s really good. And you know what would go even better with this? Some of those buttermilk biscuits that I hooked up, go under breakfast and search for it. Pour this on top. You are going to absolutely love it.
Kim, once again, thank you so much for writing in. I really appreciate it and I love taking care of your recipe fixes. Be sure to come back tomorrow and see our new featured ix of the day.
