Country Cook Center Makeover
Country Corner Episode 1
Hi and welcome to Country Corner. My name is Michele and today we are going to show what we’re going to do with the counter that my girlfriend gave me. In country decorating when you have a friend who decorates also usually you and trade giving finding and the other day she decided she didn’t want this counter and she wanted to give it to me and I really like it because the counter really reminded me a little bit of a-- but it doesn’t have flower bin.
But I really thought it was neat so what I did was I just went into the bunch of stuff from around my house, mainly in my kitchen and my dining room and really didn’t taught me anything so what I finished today is how I could take all this with something someone gave me and show how cute when it’s done all for the cost of nothing.
Our cookie jar is going to have cookies and treats when we’re kids in months and have bean pot just set up in here and then I had like a little milk jar and then I’ve got egg beater put that in the back over here. I got a berry tree. You know berries right now are such a big thing in country cooking everybody has got to have berries and I just love them.
This one I’m going to have to hang on the wall but I decided to take the little thing off the wall and just kind of place it in there a nice space there and then there’s all these vintage looking boxes the same in all the country magazines and catalogues and stuff so one of them is in there like the flower and then I have an old whisky jug I got that out of the yard sale. Nothing.
I put that up there and then in the floor a large ball jar. I love old jars I think they’re so neat. My favorite one is the blue one though as well as the color. I got some little vintage looking jar too and my little set up there and then back was hanging on the wall I juts ahd to take it off and put some like thick little bread in there put that up there a little bucket here we’re going to see there.
Sheep and put that in there. And then I had a sign right there that will start to hang out there and nice little basket just a napkins and nice and then I found a little bar and I think we’ll just stick that in here right over here so for nothing this walking around my kitchen, my dining room to figure out a few things and this is how it turned out. I don’t think it’s too bad so thanks for watching and I hope that I gave you some ideas and if you have any comments or questions feel free to post them, thanks.
