I think maybe if somebody at a retail shop shop saw that an individual was purchasing 50,000 rounds of .10 caliber ammunition, that might send a flag up. They'd be looking into a why? Is it a gun club? But there is no real legislation or oversight on ammunition purchases."[[VOICE OVER]PETER AHERN IS A FORMER F-B-I AGENT- [[SOT][[SUPER: PETER AHERN/FORMER FBI AGENT] "There is no strategic look at purchases of ammunition, just like there is no strategic look at purchases of weapons by law enforcement or anybody else."[[VOICE OVER] GUN SHOP OWNER DICK RUTAN SAYS HE'LL REFUSE ABOUT A SALE A WEEK IF SOMEONE GIVES HIM THE WRONG IMPRESSION-SOT'either because my questioning makes them nervous or I've just flat out told people I don't like your manner and if you have alcohol on your breath-forget it."
