Today we’re going to show you how to completely uninstall a program using the Revo Uninstaller, which is a totally free program. It does a beautiful job of completely uninstalling programs from your computer.
So with the Revo Uninstaller loaded, we’ll pick a program to uninstall and click uninstall. Now I ask me if I’m sure and I’ll say yes, now what Revo does is it has a variety of uninstall mode. The one I normally use is moderate, what this does is it uses the program to built in uninstall, and then it also goes through and scans and finds left over folders and files and registry entries, it also removes those.
So we’ll click next, the program is working, ask me again if I’m sure, I say yes, now I click next, now Revo is scanning, looking for folders and registry entries that may have been left behind. I click next, you can see there's a couple of registry entries, say select all then delete. Ask me if I’m sure I say yes, I click next and the I click finish and we’re all done. And the program has been completely uninstalled, so the program files, folders, and registry entries are completely gone, and that’s all there is to it.
