Chicago Homicide Rate Reaches 435, Tops 2011

is Chicago’s 435th homicide of the year. That equals the city's entire death toll from 2011.
The Chicago Tribune reports the man put up a fence around the home, to keep local drug dealers from using his property.
No word whether the fence had anything to do with the shooting.
