Where can I get more information on careers?

If you’re going to do web based research or library based research, hit the internet and start using search engines to search for all the terms that you’ve turned up that are related to the career that you’re interested in.

Another interesting place to identify information on careers is to go to Amazon because Amazon list books on everything. So if you’re trying to figure out jobs in the international arena, plug in International Jobs in Amazon search function and see what books are out there.

Many people have written very specific books on careers in cooking or careers in international arenas or careers in travel so go look in for those on the internet and maybe order a couple.

You can also go to your college career center or to your local public library career center and start looking at the books on the directories that they have available and some of them actually have proprietary online databases that you can use to do research as well. So there is a wealth of information available on the internet for researching for yourself.
