The Canon A610 also has a Panoramic Assist Mode or a stitch mode depending on how you call it and that can be found here on the mode dial. This icon here, that icon is the panoramic assist mode. Just turn the camera on and you can see and on the back, you can see this arrow indicates the direction as my panorama. You can change that by using the left or right navigation buttons, I’ll just press left and now I’m panning to the left, press right, pan to the right. Take the picture and basically, half of the picture will appear on the screen and the other half of the screen will be the next picture, so it kind of helps you align the pictures. Notice that my light balance is set to tungsten and my situation here is not very good, but what you do in control over the things at light balance, I can just press the function button and access light balance and several other functions to optimize this picture. That’s it!
