It’s summer time. It’s a great time to be outside grilling and a great way to put your own step on your grilling experience is to make your own spice rub. So today we’re going to make a Cajun Creole Spice Rub. There is quite an array of spices that go into this but it’s really simple. It’s just a matter of measuring. We’re going to start off with some paprika, garlic, salt, black pepper, white pepper, salt, ground coriander, and the exact proportions are on the website. White sugar, some sage, some thyme, some dried onion flakes, some hot yellow mustard powder, cayenne, oregano, and cumin.
Now I've put that directly into a sealable container. You put the lid on, you give it a shake and it’s ready to go. So I've got the exact proportions for this particular recipe on the website but I would highly recommend that you make just a small amount, taste it, play with it a little bit, change the spicing mixture to suit your needs and really make it your own. You can save a couple of bucks and you can make your grilling experience really special. Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon.
