Welcome back to the beginners guide to buying and selling on E-bay series. When you’ve decided that you want to place a bid on an item. There are few steps you need to go through, on the item’s page you will see the current bid price if there is one. You need to obviously bid higher than this bid if you have any hopes in winning the auction. You will see the minimum price you can bid here, enter your amount and click on place bid. Make sure it’s the item that you want to buy and make sure you will look at the shipping cost and payment method the seller accepts.
Once you click on confirmed bid, you are basically signing a virtual contract that if you are the highest bidder you will be responsible for paying the seller for the item. So make sure you want to purchase the item before you confirm your bid, otherwise you will be known as a bad buyer and sellers won’t want to accept your bids in the future. Remember there are 10 parts to the series so don’t forget to check out the other episodes in the beginners guide to buying and selling on E-bay.
