Chef Catherine DeOrio: Hi, I am Chef Cat DeOrio with Sara Lee. The holidays could be so stressful, with different family members coming in and out of the house, and everybody is hungry. So I am going to show you how to make some simple yet special meal solutions to feed that hungry bunch. We are going to make Brunch for a Bunch, using Jimmy Dean Skillets, and my favorite Sara Lee Breakfast Bread.
We are going to start with the Jimmy Dean Breakfast Skillet. There is a variety of flavors; I am going to use sausage, because that's what we like in our house. So we are going to go ahead, just open this up, put it in a 9" x 13" casserole dish. It's so simple and it's so quick and easy to do that you can be sure to feed everybody in no time.
Then what we are going to do is we are going to have six eggs in a bowl, a medium size bowl, and crack some pepper in there, little bit of salt, and then you are just going to beat those eggs up. You want to make sure that you have all the egg yolks nicely incorporated into the white.
Then you are just going to pour this over the sausage skillet, and make sure the egg is nicely incorporated and all around the skillet so that everything is evenly distributed. Your oven should be preheated to 350. You are going to bake this for 40 minutes. So delicious, the color is anyhow gorgeous. The red peppers and the green bell peppers, so beautiful! After 40 minutes, you will have a delicious breakfast, a great brunch for a bunch.
So while this is sitting, wait for five minute before you cut it, you can go ahead and toast up some delicious Sara Lee Breakfast Bread; Blueberry Crumble is my favorite, its delicious, and you will have a wonderful brunch for a bunch. It smells amazing; you can smell the onions and the sausage and everything. It's going to make your kitchen smell delicious, and it's sure to satisfy all those hungry holiday guests.
