Bring OS X's Stacks to Windows
Welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont.
Windows and OS X had very different ways to access your files from the desktop, but if you have a fondness for OS X stocks and want that functionality and windows, I have the perfect tool for you. It’s called Stand Alone Stock from ChrisandSoft.com. Just download this at file, extract into your preferred location and run it. Select New Stock in the options and have at added. Choose the folder you’d like to turn into a stock and configure it in any way that works best for you. Click Create Shortcut and you're good to go. You can leave it as an icon on the desktop or put it to the task bar for easier accessibility. Thanks to—man for the tip.
