All right guys in here a first in boot up of the brand new BlackBerry Bold 9000. See I’ll turn this on the first time and peel off the plastic on the front here. The nice welcome start using your Smart phone. We didn’t even get stated guide. Not going to happen. All right, the screen feels pretty much nice there. So heres the back of the device with it’s kind of full leather feeling there. There’s more plastic, peel that off. Let’s see if there is a latch down there. Go ahead and try to take that off. Push that in, I supposed there it go.
All right the back comes off. Now there is sim card in there it’s not mine. I don’t know if it’s an active sim card? But let’s just see what happens. So heres the battery. Go ahead and just pop that bad boy right in. Close up the device. The back and latch definitely more secure than the old curve. It doesn’t feel like this is going to slide off if you put it in your pocket. It does have a nice feel though with the battery. So put that down, I’ll zoom in a little bit for you.
And there it goes, power it on and let’s see what happens. I easy to give you a little bit on the boring side and sometime BlackBerry can take a little while to turn on. There a little spinning icon in there. Maybe I can see this with the brightness I can’t really adjust it. The device just turned on. But there is a little clock in there that is spinning. I’m going to put that back down. Track balled it up, veery exciting stuff.
The keyboard does seem to fell nice it will be a nice to play around with the phone with a full QWERTY keyboard and using the iPhone 3G now for a while and I had the first version iPhone. Its like missed in actual tactile keyboard but we’ll see how this feels.
I used a BlackBerry Pearl before this. I’ve played around with the Curve. I even had an old BlackBerry 8700. The last one with the wheel on the side. And you know it’s nice. So here we go got an AT&T splash screen, list of stuff. Verifying security software and that include software that is proprietary and confidential. Set up wizard. We can close that not to abort setup wizard. Okay, All right so that was the first boot up of the BlackBerry Bold and I can tell you the screen It’s gorgeous on this. I’ll do a full hardware review on it just wanted you guys to see the first boot up at the home screen and seem you guys like that. If in case you're wondering sim card not worked I have to pop in my own sim card and give this a whirl.
