Black Friday Deals is the second of the paid apps that handles Black Friday for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This app also includes some additional information on Cyber Monday if you’re looking for more online deals.
The app is broken up into two main areas: Deals and Categories. Deals simply list out the name of the deal, a quick description, and the price. There’s no indication as to what store it is from or what category it belongs in. In fact, we’re not even sure how they organized it on the page.
The categories tab will list out 19 different categories for you to browse through. Tapping on one of the categories will simply bring up a list of all the items they know about that fall under that category. There’s no real way to search for anything or get any real idea as to what you can find where, so unless you want to just browse, this isn’t the app for you.
If it wasn’t enough, this app constantly crashes. Even after restarting the phone and letting it sit for awhile, opening the app and clicking on a category can often result in a crash. If you’re looking for a reliable Black Friday app this isn’t the one for you.
