There has been over 50 adaptations of the Robin Hood’s stories since 1908 so Ridley Scott’s latest version has a lot to live up to. Here are top five Robin Hood’s on film.

In 1976 Sean Connery played an aging Robin returning from the busied to rune of his Lady Marian played by Audrey Hepburn.

Back in 1922, swash buckling in Douglas Fairbanks took on a role at a silent black and white version of the Robin Hood legend becoming the first movie star to make the role his own.
