Liz Tuccilo: My name is Liz Tuccilo and I was a writer on Sex and the City and co-author of He’s Just Not That Into You. You would think I was a dating expert; get single life still battled me. So, I decided to travel the world and see how people all over were managing their single lives.

I thought it would be great to be single in Rio because from what I've heard the women there no matter their shape and size love their bodies, I wanted some of that and I imagine everyone was out all the time being sexy, drinking—dancing and having the time of their lives.

So, my first step was to a bikini designer because who better to encourage me to love my body then someone who wanted to sell me a bathing suit.

Lenny: That’s the first priority of the Brazilian women is the body always.

Female: When you were down mainly, do you do it for men?

Liz Tuccilo: We were here at one of Rio’s most premier health clubs and we are talking to men and women here about their favorite obsession which seems to be their bodies. And a particular part of their body really, the ass.

Male: Tits, kiss, body.

Liz Tuccilo: But why is everybody in Brazil obsessed with the Boom, Boom.

Male: In Rio, you have many mountains and the beach is the same design of the city.

Liz Tuccilo: But now it’s time to sit down with some of the fabulous women in Rio and a controlled sober serious environment about being single in Brazil.

Do—your beautiful?

Female: At the end of the day.

Male: Yeah—mirror she doesn’t like it.

Female: Totally.

Male: Everyday I love it.

Liz Tuccilo: Everyday you’re in love with your self. Everyday I'm kind of maybe sometimes casually dating my self.

Female: First of all, we are very happy people here, our culture, our behavior is happy towards life and women are happy, we are happy people.

Liz Tuccilo: But come on let’s get down to business. What's the percentage of women who come into your store to buy bikini that has had liposuction? What's the percentage?

Male: 90% I think.

Liz Tuccilo: Cellulite.

Male: Cellulite.

Liz Tuccilo: Can I kill my self?

Male: Why, what?

Liz Tuccilo: Why? When you look at Cellulite, you want a bump.

Male: Because who have a body—

Liz Tuccilo: So, basically you're telling women who have Cellulites cover it up on the beach.

Male: They prefer to just play cards at home.

Liz Tuccilo: I don’t think they can go on.

Okay so maybe Rio women didn’t love their bodies as much as I thought they did. But I still knew there was a lot I can learn from them.
