Once you've added, removed or shuffled content around on your YouTube homepage, you'll be greeted by your own personalized YouTube portal whenever you log in. This is a great way to keep track of what your network has been up to since you last logged in.

Welcome back to the Beginners Guide to YouTube series.
When you first sign in to YouTube, you'll be brought to the YouTube homepage. Here, you'll see videos that are featured on YouTube, the videos which are most active meaning they're being viewed the most, any activities that friends you’ve added to YouTube are participating in, YouTube promoted videos and any new videos from channels you’ve subscribe too. We’ll get in to subscribing videos in the later video in the series.
You can completely customize what you see on the home page by clicking on Customize Your Homepage and checking or un-checking boxes. This will remove or add the modules I just showed you. Click on update and here are the changes. You can also re-arrange the modules by clicking on these arrows moving them up or down.
Also on your homepage, you'll see your inbox which contains messages and friend requests. You'll see information about videos you’ve added and information about your YouTube activity.
Again, you can remove any of these modules by clicking on customize you homepage and unchecking the boxes.
