Beauty Bag Essentials for a Perfect Summer Getaway
Zelana: Summer’s the perfect time to getaway so we’ve come up with the ultimate summer vacation checklist for easy to pack beauty essentials.
Whether you’re taking a road trip with girlfriends, or a romantic getaway, this will definitely come in handy.
Annie: And don’t forget, the fewer liquids you need to pack, the better. So let’s get started.
Zelana: This NARS multi purpose stick for eyes, cheeks and lips is perfect for travel. It’s solid so there’s nothing to spill and it’s designed for fail proof application.
Annie: Having spent most of the last month in hotels, I can tell you, they can smell pretty bad. So Travel Candle’s Simple Idea, not only do they smell great, this one has a super sexy secret. Light it up, it warms and then it turns into a massage oil.
Zelana: Many skin care scents are really important to have when traveling. It allows you to have your full beauty regimen even when you’re on the go. I like the Jurlique set because the herbal formula is really soothing.
Annie: There are two great wipes to have on hand when you’re traveling. The first one, make up remover. Easy, simple, you don’t have to pack another liquid. And then Tocca makes this great SPF towelettes, they’re individually packaged, just put them in your bag and you go.
Zelana: Paper soaps are great thing to have whether you’re going camping, or going to the beach. It’s actually a strip of soap, and all you need to do is add water.
Annie: A lot of hotels don’t have the best shampoo or conditioner, which means, you could have bad hair on your trip and the whole vacation could be ruined. So just bring your own mini bottles from home or go with the solid shampoo. It comes in reusable packaging, and you can get more washes from it.
Zelana: Something I never leave home without is a hand sanitizer. You can get them anywhere. I like to find the more natural alternatives like Burt’s Bees or CleanWell.
Annie: You’re never know when you’re going to get hurt on vacation and if you walk or not, you’re going to get blisters. So you might as well be ready for both with Band Aids.
