Matter and Beyond

For the last five centuries, there has been an ever-widening chasm between the perspectives of science and spirituality. A conflict between these two views has been harmful and unproductive with severe psychological, cultural and environmental consequences, especially in the 20th century. But today, we are experiencing a shift in thinking. Through discoveries in the areas of cosmology, quantum mechanics, chaos theory, psychology and medicine, scientists and spiritual thought leaders are trying to find a common ground. Matter and Beyond focuses on contemporary efforts of establishing a positive engagement between science and religion. Through interviews with scientists and spiritual thought leaders, Matter and Beyond explores a broad range of topics including: consciousness; big bang theory; bioethics; design argument; prayer, meditation and healing; artificial intelligence; aging and death; and spiritual transformation.
