The idea of the B and B party is to celebrate the end of your single life, but they can just this easily make your partner feel jealous, alone and sometimes a little stubby. If you’re feeling unsure about letting your lover into the gate to Sodom, don’t.
The wedding experts at TheKnot.com say it’s perfectly natural to encounter some jealousy when the big night occurs. They suggest trying not to think of it as the out of control evening of the bachelor that movies and TV make it out to be. It’s more likely that the actual event will be a bit more mundane. Though, I wish I could say the same for mine, crazy.
However, if you’re still not totally comfortable with the traditional stag night, why not combine the best of both worlds with the joint B and B party? As suggested by the fine folks at MyWedding.com, many couples often share mutual friends and would like to have everyone there for the big night out. But if you’re going to have a joint party, be careful because as Matthew McConaughey will show up and before you start to think that’s the good thing, know this someone who constantly exercises and never wears a shirt will smell like death.
One last tip, when planning the big B party always remember to keep your partner and the potential for jealousy in mind and as for Mr. McConaughey, “Oh, my God! Put a shirt on!”
