It looks its now the European Union is about to put a heavy piss down on Intel, the chip maker is expected to be hit with the painful find this week if they’re found of anti-competitive practices which were pretty sure they will be. The EU is expected to charge Intel with doing shady things such as illegally paying computer makers to postpone or cancel the launch of there products containing chips by AMD which is Intel’s biggest competitor. Of course Intel says that they’ve never done anything wrong but most companies with there hands carp in the cookie jar say that. We don’t know how much they will find that I doubt they’ll be getting enough chip so take note Intel stock holder this won’t be pretty. If you are getting your hopes of about the garment newbie phone you can just bring those hopes right back down to earth. The word is that we won’t see it until Q3 of this year, originally we thought we’ve see it in the first quarter of this year. Actually no, we originally thought we’ve see it in the first quarter of 2008. This is the as use in garment phone with the heavy emphasis on GPS. It’s called the Intelligent Speed Adaptation System and it monitors drivers speed through preloaded broad data and GPS. So if your cars out fitted to one of this computers it knows the speed limit of every road you drive one with inserting city parameters. As long as you stay within the speed limit you got a smiley face, if you try to go over the car just won’t do it you can put as hard as you want the accelerator and just want go. The city thinks this could help reduce traffic accidents by 10%, maybe but I suspect it will increase road rage by 100%.
