Cyclist Lance Armstrong has repeatedly denied using banned performance-enhancing drugs and blood transfusions. He continued his denials even after he was stripped of his record seven Tour de France titles and received a lifetime ban from athletic competition. Now, he may be prepared to say: “I did.” " The New York Times " reports Armstrong is considering ‘fessing up to doping  because: “...He wants to persuade antidoping officials to restore his eligibility so he can resume his athletic career.” However, as MSNBC reports, even if the cancer survivor decides to finally admit to doping, it wouldn’t solve his legal problems. “A federal criminal investigation was dropped last year. But Armstrong still f aces several other investigations, including a case filed by former teammate Floyd Landis.” " Business Insider " says Armstrong should tell the truth about his doping, not so that he can compete again. But, because ”it’s the right thing to do”: “Once he tells the truth, completely and humbly, Lance Armstrong could begin to apologize to all of the people he attacked, lied about, and tried to destroy over the years.” But CNN says, don’t hold your breath. “ Lance Armstrong's attorney is denying that his client talking with the U.S. or world anti-doping agencies about publicly admitting using illegal performance-enhancing drugs.”
