VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

Cinco de Mayo marks the Battle of Puebla where a small group of Mexican soldiers beat the French army in 1862. The day isn't even a federal holiday in Mexico, it's more widely celebrated in the United States.  While one the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the world is held in Los Angeles, California, one of the most interesting is held in Chandler, Arizona. Each year locals set up chihuahua races, and the winners are crowned king and queen of the breed.
