An Interview with The Low Anthem

I’m loving Tazz right now, we have a great music scene happening, there's been a lot of
bands recently that have come out of province and started to get some attention nationally
and it’s always added a ton of incredible local artist. We’re not a band that meets up to
rehearse before we go on tour, we’re a band that is in each others houses and is together
maybe too much. Our friends at Devils Rainbow, it’s too bad they have to put this plastic
in front of it but I understand there’s other reasons but I understand they have reasons
why they have to do that.

On this song we just put it out and whoever heard it like told the next guy and this is a
very natural thing but next time we put out a record there’s going to be a lot of people
who already know about our music and so there’s going to be more like a do something
that response to where this left off, you know that moves somewhere else. I don’t know,
we never had to think about anything from the outside in and hopefully we will continue
not to think that way ever but it will change and I’d imagine that also the way that people
will listen to will change people to start to expect change that we never go out on tour
without coming back different antique stuff.

So Monday, June 15th, we’re playing at the Barry Ballroom in New York City and on
Thursday, June 18th we’re playing at the Brattle Theater in Boston, well in Cambridge
and we’re playing various festivals around the country, so that’s that from the North East.
