This is Information Leak doing another video tutorial. This is creating a web server with if you haven’t guess already, Apache the reason we are using Apache is it’s free and it’s very simple to do. Let’s begin, first thing you want to do is download Apache which is very simple and we are going to apache.org and once you would see I was think, spelled it work and that’s fine, apache.org. To download there http server, some time using windows we are going to use the binary MSI installer I want to save it to our desk and save. Now I know a lot of you don’t know web designs so why you are going to do this, the reason you want to do this is just in case you want it to share files with the friend or relative or something like that over the net without having to you know if you want to share files or host your on type this stuffs this is what you use.
Here is your file right here and got to install it real fast, not a big file and it doesn’t take long. Just for shot in giggles, local host putting your email address and you can change all of these stuff after what we are uses is put AD as service typical that’s to the directory it’s going to install it to go. Now in the meantime what I’d like you to do is you have to know where you are as to in terms of your IP address on the internet. So while this is installing like you open up the open prompt and typing IP config/all, actually now that I think about it Apache is going to start using some desk windows so you are going to see some flushing on the screen as it is installs. So will just give this a split second to finish what its doing and there they are. Did I see that common or what, I believe there are two of them and there is the second one.
Alright, back to what we are doing. Get the pen and write this down. This is your IP address, this is happens to be a private IP address in time behind the router and it’s 190.168.2.103 that is the— this computers particular address then the 102.168.2.1 on the gate lay that’s my router so we are going to have to port forward because a lot of internet service providers block 480 which is the internet port so we are going to flip it around we are going to getting around that so write down those numbers so that you know what they are. Moving on, we are going to go to find out what your actual IP address, says we are going to type in, whatismyip.com and it will give you your IP address right there down. Now just for the record I’m also a hosting information leak from my house using Apache on another computer so just to show you how this works and follow to put that IP address in and it brings it information leak because I have 84 it out but will see that in a minute.
Anyway you will notice Apache a little icon on the bottom right to your screen, right here Apache Service Monitor it’s running that’s good. We are going to your program files where Apache was installed which is here and take a look HTDOCS that’s what you are looking for at this location this is what you are going to put anything you want available on your web server so at the time being I’m going to delete all this stuff and now we are going to put in just some random things I don’t even know what I have lying around here and I want to put in some random information. Now this is the stuff that we want available on the web server ones it up, now lets configure this just to make sure it work first. Local host, should show up that they are that is the stuff we just put in that folder and that folder is now available at local host. Now we want it available outside of our particular network onto the internet so that we can tell Dick, Jane and Bob how to get to these files so that we can share files together.
So what we are going to do is we are going to, going to our router which we work on the address two previously and we are going to log into it and hope I remember my thing, bingo. Now I’m using a Linksys router so here is your Linksys but generally speaking you just going to look for anything with port for reading so you might want to go on and Google it up if you have to, it happen it know it’s under applications in gaming. Now we are going to use 48000 why? I don’t know no particular reason and we are going to forward it over to and I believe that’s 103 with this address and were going to unable it and save. These means anytime someone calls for 48000 it’s going to forward over to this computer and that directory and you are going to have everything exactly. So now that we’ve done that actually I think that’s it so now we type our IP address again once this is good and I just did that and the thing port 8000 enter and hopefully with any luck oh you know what it’s not going to work because we have to restart the service, restart and I just remember something else we have to do. Since we are in here we have to go to the CLNF file the configuration file because we’ve change that to 48000. Open up the httpd.conf scroll down a little bit and you will see right here it’s listening to port AD which now we want to save 8000 we save that then we go back to the Apache thing on the jig as soon that’s make and then we restart and then I only then we should be good to go.
Restart and restart it, minimize now which should be good to go. That is my friends and how to setup the web server so it’s too in depth but I’m trying to do it quick for you.
