Alright, it’s cold today so I got my hat on. A little bit of an end to the DVD if you like. My new heavy duty 55-70 amp alternator, I'm now going to bolt on to my project car. Have a quick look at that. Its www.cobalt-minor.com.uk. Nothing but passion. So I'm going to bolt this up and then we will start it up, stick with lights on and stick a volt meter across the battery to make sure we got fairly enough power. So I’ll glue this on and we’ll cover doing the test in a second. Alright, that stuck on. Looks nice and good. Cleanest and newest part in the engine bay. Fan belt on, stuck the plug back in the back. And now we will start it outside. Take a step backwards. So I got to turn the car on first. It’s a little bit cold, so I got to keep my hands on the throttle. I've already plug the volt meter in. and you can see it here, 13.6 something volts. Then I keep the headlights on. This is about as much I can suck from this car. I’ll going to have to let go. That's it for this DVD. And if you're capable of doing anything mechanical on your own car, then an alternator or a volt meter is not beyond your capability by any stretch your imagination. So, that's it, see you in the next DVD. Starting a new other one or any of the other ones on this project.
