Yeah, set the key frame there. I do not want to get to go right from the beginning. A few frame into it have the laser coming into the screen. Now what we need to do is readjust the laser and turn it to a 3D layer.
Okay, open up our transform. Get X rotation and we need to flatten it out. Alright, okay, and position it. So that it looks like it is flying in to the ship.
Now the position—because it is the last key frame we want to move it right in so that it right on the ship. So if you hold on the shift and move your position key right across it should get there quite quickly, alright. So, I say about here will be a good place because that is where the explosion actually starts, alright, set key frame. Now this is one of the things where you do this in reverse because it is a lot easier to do this backwards.
Now we move the laser out from the ship, so hold on shift and move it right out. Set the motion blur and laser should fly right into the ship. If it does not look very straight, scrap through the actual time line you see that it is not quite straight. So, we need to adjust the orientation of that. Try and get it so that the laser actually lines up with in lines. Here we go, nothing asked the load, that is quite good. And yeah, that is it. So if we just do another round preview we will see what we came back with.
There you go, it is looking quite good. Okay. You will notice that the laser does not actually stop in the same place where the explosion kicks off and it did actually move quite slowly. So what we probably need to do is actually change this so that it comes in quite fast. So let us close this up a bit. Move this key frame here, so set the starting point, got it right, okay. And on our last key frame just before it explodes, let us move it over here. Let us have a look at that. That is looking quite good. And there we have it.
The final touch to this is it does not do anything with our sound so we have a few sound files to add to this so we are going to get the first laser sound effects, we will move that underneath and line in just as the laser shoots so as the laser appears, there we have it, it comes in just as the explosion activates. We get our explosion 1 file move it down here and place it here. And if we get our explosion 5 file and move it just as the secondary huge explosion kicks in. So that is around about here. And there you have it.
