Add Sparkle to Your Hair, Discover Lash Tinting, and Hot Fall Lip Glosses

Annie: In today’s Bella beauty tip, I'm going to give you my splurge secret
for how to keep your hair shiny and sparkling with this little pot of
gold. Have you tried it? Lash tinting, it’s the lazy girl’s ultimate
beauty secret. Does it work? We send our own beauty
correspondent Zelana to go find out. In splurge or steal, celebrity
makeup artist Mary Klimek shows us the must-have ball lip gloss
colors for every budget.

Ready to add a little sparkle into your life then check this out. This
is the Fort Knox of Hair Care. It’s from Oribe, it’s called 24K Gold
Pomade and what’s great about it is that it kind of highlights your
highlights but not so much that you’re going to look like a leftover
from the 90’s rape scene.

It’s super easy to use. You can use it on dry hair, wet hair in
between, just put a little bit on your hands, work it from root to tip
and then you’re good as gold. Whenever I have a special occasion,
this is the item I constantly reach for. It’s a little pricey. I know but
I think it’s worth the splurge because a little bit goes a long way.
You will have this for years on and it will serve you time and time
and time again. And that’s your Bella beauty tip of the week.

Zelana Hollywood is obsessed with eyelashes. False eyelashes, eyelash
extensions, Lady Gaga lashes. I’ve heard a lot of talk about lash
tinting. So I met up with Tracey Snyder at LA’s XO Studio to try it
out.

I was actually really freaked out going into this. I don’t like to put
things near my eyes.

Tracey: Well first, let me tell you you’re not risking your lashes at all.
There is nothing harmful or painful or scary about a lash tint. First
thing we’re going to do is just prep your skin with a little Vaseline
and do your eyes and on your eyelids and I’m going to place some
lash pads right underneath your eye.

Zelana: When I saw her mixing up that gooey, flashy stuff in that little
Petri dish I was a little freaked out but then she said it was a
vegetable base.

Tracey: All we do is paint the tint right over your lashes and you’re going
to sit with your eyes close for 15 minutes.

Zelana: At first, it was pretty intense peppery but it just means it’s
working. Toward the end, it was less peppery and it felt pretty
good. I’m fine everyone. It was a lot easier than I thought it would
be.

Tracey: Okay, time’s up.

Zelana: Oh my God please tell me that all my lashes still in. I was really
nervous at the very end and then when I saw myself, it really was
amazing. Oh my God.

Tracey: It’s going to last for four to six weeks and everyday your lashes are
going to be super, super dark black.

Zelana: Lash tinting isn’t so crazy after all. I love the results.

Mary Klimek: Hi, I’m Mary Klimek. I’m a celebrity makeup artist out here in Los
Angeles and I’m going to show you your three must-have lip gloss
color for fall whether it’s a splurge or steal.

One of the great colors is a nice chocolaty brown. This lip gloss is
from Benefit. For those of you who don’t want to go with like a
bold red or a deep berry color, this is your perfect option. It’s not a
complete steal but it’s not a major splurge. It will give you a
vampy look without having the commitment of a total black and
wear it by itself or with a lip liner. It’s still sheer but it has a little
bit of depths to it.

Okay, for a splurge it’s definitely worth it and I would recommend
the Lancome glasses. They have amazing assortment of colors,
very heavily pigmented. No lipstick, no liner, nothing needed,
straight out of the tube and apply. It is your perfect burgundy,
wine, crimson, deep, shiny color. Now for one of my favorite lip
glosses and a complete steal. This is from Victoria’s Secret and the
color is “Cupquake”. Not cupcake but “cupquake.” It’s a beautiful
hot pink completely sheer, very, very shiny.

This will really bump this up and make us a really good fall color.
You can apply this over the top of a nice chocolate pencil, a berry
pencil or any lip color that you choose. And for those of you who
like to eat this, it tastes very good.

These are my three favorite lip gloss fall tips whether you’re going
for a splurge or a steal, this is the way to go.
