Male: It’s another DIY Network fantastic quick tip.
Male: I’m Ned Minster and I’m going to show you how to turn an eyesore into an eye opener. If your vanity is lacking a reason for vanity, try covering it with this, it’s a peel and stick film that looks just like stainless steel. The PVC film comes in rolls you simply apply directly to the cabinet. All you need is a clean smooth surface, a sharp blade and a credit card. Release the backing paper as you lay down the film. The liner comes printed with a grid to make measuring and cutting a no brainer. The biggest challenge is to create sharp clean corners. But if you take your time, you’ll quickly get the hang of it. Use a hairdryer on low to shrink the film and create a nice smooth finish. Stainless steel film can give an old cabinet a slick new look. There, what once was a sorry sight is now the focal point of the room.
