VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

Equestrian Hiroshi Hoketsu, 70, of Japan qualified for his fourth Olympic games in dressage. If Japan sends him, he will be the oldest competitor in that event, at the age of 71. He was also the eldest at the Beijing games in 2008. He won't be the oldest Olympian ever, that goes to Oscar Swahn of Sweden, who competed in rifle at the age of 72. Patrick Jones has more.
