Growing up in the Midwest, taught me to love oversized chunky sweaters, so it's thrill to see them on the runways this fall. Layered net wear is the way to create a very sleek look in a comfortable manner.
If you start stopping up on really thin gauge nets that you can wear now, you can wear them with chunkier pieces as the weather gets colder. A fine gauge cardigan is a year-around staple, and it's something that you can wear right now. I like to wear it belted, because belts are still allover the runways for fall.
I think the best way to belt the cardigan is to change the proportion of your body making you look taller, and actually belt it higher than your natural waist, wear it under your bust line.
One of my favorite ways to extend a summer look is by adding layers of net wear. For example, this tee is great underneath the cardigan, and I've paired it with a matching pair of tights, or you can do leggings. Plus it extends your favorite pair of open-toed shoes, just a couple of months longer.
